Norma ‘s Animal Farm was created by using the Unity 3D Modeling Augmented Reality Platform along with the Vuforia Engine Application and the Tinkercad 3D modeling program.

The objective when designing the farm was to create a colorful, peaceful environment to portray a happy home for all the animals of the farm. The AR model depicts a horse, a pig, a flower, grass and bushes throughout the grass.

The horse and the pig are 3D models from the popular game of Minecraft. Texture was added to the animals in Unity for color. The flower was created by first drawing a sketch, taking a picture of it, importing it into unity and then placing it in the farm. The pasture and the bushes were created in Unity. This platform has tools and features that you can use to create pretty much anything that you imagine.

Creating Norma’s farm was a very challenging and fun learning experience. I really enjoyed the class. It is amazing to discover how much one can create with technology!
