Merge Cube is a company that uses a cube to showcase augmented reality.

Merge Cube does have their own developer software, but you do not need to purchase anything to use the free apps available on the app store OR to use the cube itself! There is a paper version that is free to use and works just the same as their foam cube that is sold in stores and online.
